〈JCJ声明〉安倍元首相の「国葬」に反対する—世界の人たちに向けてJCJアピール

報道各位ならびに各国大使館殿
Dear Mem­bers of the Press and Embassies of Var­i­ous Coun­tries,
日本ジャーナリスト会議（JCJ）は安倍晋三元首相の「国葬」に反対し、世界の人々に向けてと題する声明を9月12日に発表しました。
日本外国特派員協会、国境なき記者団（パリ）、ならびに関係する在日各国大使館あてにファクスやメールで送付します。同時に在京の日本メディアにも送ります。
法的な根拠がないまま、国民の税金を「国葬」につぎ込むことは民主主義の原則に反します。このような政権の勝手な行為を世界の人々に知ってももらいたいとの思いからJCJは声明を出しました。どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

The Japan Con­gress Jour­nal­ists (JCJ) issued a state­ment on Sep­tem­ber 12 enti­tled “To the peo­ple of the world” against the “state funer­al” of for­mer Prime Min­is­ter Shin­zo Abe.
It will be sent by fax or e‑mail to the For­eign Cor­re­spon­dents’ Club of Japan, Reporters With­out Bor­ders (Paris), and the rel­e­vant embassies in Japan.
At the same time, we will also send it to the Japan­ese media in Tokyo.
It goes against the prin­ci­ple of democ­ra­cy to pour tax­pay­ers’ mon­ey into “nation­al funer­als” with­out any legal basis.
The JCJ issued a state­ment out of a desire to make the peo­ple of the world aware of such self­ish acts of the admin­is­tra­tion.
